Who We Are
The People at Pakworld
Together our team totals more than 150 years’ of print and packaging experience. It’s not just a job to us. It’s a vocation that started way back in 1949 when Bill Flett, founder of Pakworld, began his career in printing. It’s like we’ve got ink in our blood. Getting the best results from your print packaging can only be truly understood by people who have done it all before. We’ve got the experience, knowledge and insight to get what you want to do and make it happen.

This was followed by experience in the Label Industry, Injection Moulding Industry and then back into the Flexible Packaging Industry.
Mike was also involved in Plastics New Zealand for many years and on the Board of Plastics and Materials Processing Industry Training Organisation – PaMPITO, for 10 years.
In his personal time, Mike is a Board Member of the UpClub Educational Trust – an organisation that provides opportunities for education and socialisation for young people with Down Syndrome.

Chris L Flett
Lover of motorsports, V8s and jet boating, Chris relishes the adrenalin of speed. But by day, he manages Pakworld with a calm, considered hand, directing day to day activities and looking out for the best interests of his clients.
After 29 years in the printing industry, you’d be excused for thinking that Chris has seen it all. But he loves seeking out new challenges through new materials, concepts and ideas. It’s this commitment to fresh thinking that keeps him on top of his game.
Chris’ secret to business is building great relationships based on trust. This started way back in 1986 when he was awarded a 4 week course to Outward Bound. The experience taught him a lot about himself and working with people; lessons that are part and parcel of who he is today.
A family man, Chris has been married for 8 years and has 2 children who keep him on top of his toes and feeling young. A globe trotter, his burning desire is to see a whole lot more of the planet. Perhaps the Monaco Formula 1 GP anyone?
Product Development & Sales
Jonathan is Sales and Marketing Director for Pakworld. However, with a wealth of experience in the business, he is also very much involved in its day to day operations.
With 30 years' experience in the printing and carton board industry, Jonathan has worked his way up from apprentice printer through every aspect of printing and packaging to business owner.
What Jonathan loves most about what he does is seeing the delight on people's faces when he and the Pakworld team create packaging products that totally exceed their expectations.
There is nothing more satisfying than working side by side with clients, helping them elevate their brands and products in the market.
In addition to his day job at Pakworld Jonathan has spent 3 years as a consultant for small business to the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Enterprise (MBIE); a role that sees him networking with some of NZ's most influential business owners and entrepreneurs.
He also donates his time to be a board member of The Full Colour Trust - a charitable organisation created to assist those working in the print and design industry returning to work after an illness or personal tragedy.
A true Cantabrian, Jonathan can't imagine himself living anywhere else other than Canterbury. Married, with two children, you'll find him, more often than not, on the slopes of a snow-clad mountain.
National Sales Manager
Keen sportsman, Adam splits his spare time between coaching and playing hockey and breeding and racing greyhounds. As an independent Director of the Auckland Greyhound Racing Club, a key focus is the care and welfare of greyhounds; dogs that are as gentle and intelligent as they are fast.
During working hours, Adam is responsible for helping clients improve their bottom line, supply chain and brand identity through innovative packaging products.
It’s a consultative role that involves really understanding the client’s business, identifying their issues, concerns or potential weaknesses and then working with them to strengthen their business. With 20 years’ experience in packaging, Adam is the ideal man for the job.
One of the few non-Cantabrians in the business, Adam lives in Auckland with his wife and 2 children. A pretty handy wordsmith, something people don’t know about Adam is that he used to get paid to write essays for other students while he was at high school.

What Tony loves most about what he does is helping clients get the best printing solutions by providing new ideas and options to help grow their business. It’s hugely rewarding seeing the satisfaction his clients get from the finished job.
