Pakworld Ltd management and staff recognise that a robust environmental policy is a key element to ensuring the sustainability of Pakworld and our customers business. It's our aim to reduce the environmental impact of our business and to operate in an environmentally sustainable and ethical manner. We intend to achieve these aims through adhering to the following policies;

Pakworld is New Zealands first packaging supplier to become FSC certified allowing us to promote the use of FSC board through utilising the FSC certified logo on certified packaging.
Utilise substrates only from preferred suppliers that have environmental policies and/or certificates of compliance to substantiate that the product is from a well managed and sustainable resource.
Utilise ink & coatings that are vegetable based or water based, therefore reducing the reliance on non-sustainable mineral resources.
Recycling of all Cardboard and paper waste, Recycling of redundant aluminium printing plates, Elimination of film through the use of CTP plate technology, Recycling of all plastic film wrap and PVC, re-use of all timber or recycled plastic pallets.
Invest in new technology, to reduce energy consumption and waste output.
Consult with customers to advise alternative substrate options that may reduce environmental impact, and where possible introduce board that has a recycled content.
